Unsold triplex hits market for $2M more than initial price
Midtown listing increased to $21 million from $19 millon
As the old adage goes: If a listing languishes on the market for a year, try raising the price.
A triplex penthouse at the Platinum at 247 West 46th Street is now listed with Sotheby’s International Realty for $21 million after having failed to sell for $18.9 million with Modern Spaces, according to Curbed.
The four-bedroom, roughly 4,200-square-foot condo spans parts of the 42nd, 43rd and 44th floors. The pad has 25-foot-high ceilings as well as a 41-foot-long terrace.
Well, if this doesn’t work out, maybe the sprawling pad will sell for another $2 million more? [Curbed] — Claire Moses
