Rent or own? It’s the perennial question, and developer Ken Schwencke sought to figure out what the landscape for renting versus homeownership looks like in New York. In the above map, blue dots represent owners and red dots represent renters. Unsurprisingly, Manhattan is dominated by red, as are Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. Staten Island remains the outlier, with the majority of the borough dominated by homeowners. [Citylab via Curbed]
