After three months on the market, the price on the roughly 5,500-square-foot domed penthouse at the historic Police Building at 240 Centre Street was chopped to $35 million.

The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom co-op hit the market for $39.9 million at the end of November, the Wall Street Journal reported. The slash comes amid a softening residential luxury market.

Altamarea restaurant group CEO Ahmass Fakahany and wife Alsun Keogh bought the penthouse from Calvin Klein in the mid-2000s. They also purchased the unit next door, which offered its own surprise: a 40-foot room.

The two units were combined, and after extensive renovations that incorporated a 1930s Parisian flair, the dome now houses a circular living room with around 25-foot high ceilings. The space above the living room — used previously for clock maintenance — is now for entertaining. The four clocks can be seen and heard. The unit also features 1,500 feet of outdoor space.

The 1909 limestone and landmarked building has its share of unique units, such as Megan Ellison’s circular UFO apartment. A former NYPD gym listed for $31.5 million in 2014, but the duplex never sold.
