Imagine the conversations at Thanksgiving dinner: Two daughters of noted postwar architects have moved into buildings their fathers did not design, opting instead for prewar elegance.

Interior designer Alexia Kondylis, daughter of Donald Trump’s preferred architect Costas Kondylis, recently bought a one-bedroom spread in a prewar building at Fifth Avenue and 11th Street. She purchased the co-op in March for $615,000, according to the New York Times. The building, constructed in 1924, was designed by Felix Candela. Read the full story from July 2005 issue here.
