The Real Deal‘s Will Parker appeared on WNYC’s “The Brian Lehrer Show” this morning to talk rent regulation and the tools available to landlords looking to part with rent-stabilized tenants. Lehrer discussed TRD‘s “An insiders guide to evicting rent stabilized tenants” article from earlier this month, in which a prominent real estate attorney gave tips to landlords seeking to “de-tenant” their buildings and detailed a legal process known as demolition eviction as a possible alternative to increasingly costly tenant buyouts. On air, Lehrer and Parker were joined by Emily Goldstein of the Association for Neighborhood Housing and Development, an affordable housing advocacy coalition. She spoke about some of the pressures that rent-stabilized New Yorkers currently face. [WNYC] — TRD
