A 20-year lease has been inked for a new nightlife concept at 311 West 57th Street – and the signers are an all-star cast. The performance and dining experience will be curated and produced by Neil Patrick Harris in collaboration with the producers of “Queen of the Night,” “Sleep No More” and “The Box.”
Broker Alex Picken of Picken Real Estate told the New York Post that the lease encompasses the three-story, 13,000-square-foot former Providence club. The aggregated rental will exceed $22 million for the entire term, according to the Post.
The space was once used by Le Bar Bat and as a recording studio for the Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix.
The venue’s name has yet to be announced but is scheduled to open this fall. [NYP] —Christopher Cameron
