With a baby soon on the way, it looks like it’s time for Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria to upgrade homes. The couple were spotted touring a $16.5 million penthouse in West Chelsea.

The penthouse at London Terraces at 470 West 24th Street near the High Line is currently owned by “Sopranos” creator David Chase.

Sources told the New York Post that Baldwin is visiting the building regularly. “He has seen the apartment at least three times, and he has been hanging out in the lobby asking residents about the building and what it’s like to be there,” one source said.

Another source said that Baldwin was asking people on the street about the neighborhood. “People were like, ‘Sorry, dude, it’s nice here, but I can’t talk, I’ve got to go.’”

The apartment has roughly 5,000 square feet, five bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths. Better still, its terrace boasts 360-degree views.

“What Alec may not realize is there is a communal roof terrace above that penthouse, so all the gays in Chelsea can look down and see him sunbathing naked on his terrace — should he choose to do so,” another source told the Post. [NYP]Christopher Cameron
