From the Los Angeles website: They’re certainly not the Beverly Hillbillies.

In a sea of blue, one tiny Beverly Hills neighborhood — with fewer than 400 voters — opted decisively for Donald Trump in the Presidential election. Approximately 54 percent of residents in the upscale district spanning Sunset Boulevard on Beverly Hills’ northwestern edge, supported the New York developer, the L.A. Times reported.

It’s unclear still why this neighborhood in particular supported Trump while none of its affluent counterparts did.

Meanwhile, more than 70 percent of voters in L.A. County opted for Clinton Tuesday. There were, however, a few other districts that went to Trump, including parts of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys and some Gabriel Valley foothills. [LAT]Cathaleen Chen
