Is Rockaway Beach set to get its own version of the ultra-hip Wythe Hotel. The architect of the Williamsburg hotspot, Morris Adjmi has been tapped to design a new boutique hotel at 108-20 Rockaway Beach Boulevard.

New building applications were filed Tuesday and spotted by New York Yimby for the six-story project between 108th and 109th Streets.

The building is currently set to rise 86 feet with a total of 61 rooms. Seven of those rooms will be extended-stay suites. About 38,700 square feet of the hotel will be retail space and while the other 9,416 square feet is set aside for residential (aka the extended stay units). [YIMBY] Christopher Cameron
