New York is the most expensive city in which to live in North America, according to a recent survey of the world’s costliest cities. New York ranked 13th globally against more expensive locales like Tokyo, Osaka, London and Moscow the world’s four most expensive cities. But Gotham easily dwarfed other North American cities like Los Angeles, which was the second most expensive city on the continent, but 44th in the world.
