Broker sues over fee for high school lease

A Manhattan real estate broker has filed a civil suit seeking a commission of at least $750,000 on the 15-year lease for the Eleanor Roosevelt High School on East 76th Street. Broker Ihsan Amatullah has sued the owner of the building housing the school, Alexander Karten, and the brokers in the lease, Julien J. Studley Inc. and Peter Berman, charging that they received a fee rightfully hers. more [NYT]
