A hedge fund manager has reportedly agreed to pay $45 million for a penthouse in the new 15 Central Park West. Daniel Loeb’s purchase of the 10-bedroom, 10,700-square-foot spread would be a record for a single residential buy in New York City, besting media mogul Rupert Murdoch’s $44 million purchase earlier this year of the late Laurence Rockefeller’s Fifth Avenue penthouse. more [Post]
