The Brooklyn Navy Yard announced Thursday afternoon that 12 small businesses recently signed leases, renewed leases or expanded operations at the industrial park. The businesses including a bedding manufacturer, a kitchen cabinet maker, and a sand distributor now collectively occupy 171,000 square feet in the 3.5-million-square-foot Yard.
