Commercial brokerage Grubb & Ellis has hired a former top executive at Jones Lang LaSalle to be president of its New York region. David Arena, who was chief strategy officer for Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York operations, will oversee Grubb & Ellis’ real estate operations in the New York metro region. Arena, 44, was a managing director at Morgan Stanley before joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 2002.
