Gov. Pataki and Mayor Bloomberg have selected a top fundraiser for New York City’s public schools to head the effort of redeveloping Governors Island. If confirmed Friday by the city-state partnership in charge of the island’s redevelopment, Leslie Koch would be president of the Governors Island Preservation and Education Corporation. more [NYT]
