1211 Sixth Avenue selling for $1.5B

Boston-based Beacon Capital, partnered with Lehman Brothers, has submitted the winning bid for 1211 Sixth Avenue. The bid, at just over $1.5 billion, comes to $800 a foot for the 1.9-million-square-foot tower that’s the headquarters for News Corp.
