Greenpoint developer faces charges

February 01, 2007 12:00AM

Joshua Guttman and his partners, who are developing the Brooklyn waterfront parcel that used to be occupied by the historic Greenpoint Terminal, are facing 434 criminal charges by the Brooklyn District Attorney for not curing deficiencies cited on their terminal docks in 2006. The charges, which each carry possible fines of $5,000, are related to citations that predate the massive, 10-alarm fire at the Greenpoint site in June 2006. Guttman is scheduled for a Feb. 16 pre-trial court date for the alleged violations. more By Jen Benepe
