Construction work has begun on the city’s first green hotel-condo. The eight-story, 61,000-square-foot hotel-condo at 250 Bowery between Prince and Houston streets will rise atop a 160-seat street-level restaurant, bar and take-out center. “There’s starting to be a movement toward green hotels,” said Corey Hoelker, a junior architect at Flank who is working on the as-yet-unnamed hotel project. more By Lauren Elkies
