JP Morgan WTC tower plans unveiled

The Port Authority confirmed yesterday that JP Morgan Chase will build a 42-story tower at the World Trade Center site. The building’s footprint will measure 32,000 square feet. The financial services giant will pay $290 million for a lease on the tower that runs through 2100. In addition, JP Morgan will pay $10 million to the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. The church was destroyed during 9/11 and a replacement house of worship will be built next to the JP Morgan tower. more [AMNY]
