Trump’s AC casinos taken off market

Trump Entertainment Resorts announced today that it is unlikely to be sold, sending shares of the company’s stock down 20 percent. Trump Entertainment Resorts operates three Atlantic City casinos and has been on the market for several months. A spokesman for the company said it will continue “to focus on our strategic operating plan, which has produced strong results.” The plan includes a 786-room hotel tower being built at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort that is scheduled to open next summer. more [AP via Crain’s]
