The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention, a non-profit founded by the fashion designer, has leased two floors of commercial space for a second branch at 2002 Fifth Avenue. The new branch will train patient-to-patient navigators, who will guide low-income cancer patients through their treatment. The center is a joint venture with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and North General Hospital. TRD
