Commercial landlord, Goldman vet buy at 15 CPW

Leslie Wohlman Himmel, a partner at the commercial property owner Himmel + Meringoff Properties, has purchased a condo at 15 Central Park West for $8.45 million, according to public records. Also listed on the deed as a buyer was Alan A. Shuch, a director of the Goldman Sachs Fund and a Goldman Sachs advisory director. Crain’s has called her “the highest ranking female landlord in Manhattan’s commercial property market” and has ranked her as one of the “100 Most Influential Women in Business.” Himmel has served as co-chair of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Economic Development Committee. Shuch joined Goldman Sachs in 1976 and retired as a general partner in 1994.
