Changing demographics have pushed development east in Brooklyn to lesser-known locations like Bushwick. One real estate firm, AptsandLofts.com, is handling seven new developments in the neighborhood, with a total of almost 50 new units of housing. They include 1060 Putnam Avenue, which has several duplexes and apartments; 1037 and 1271 Decatur Street, both which have six units; 241 Troutman Street, another six-unit development; 289 Troutman Street, which has eight units; 228-30 Troutman Street, which has 14 units; and 721 Flushing, with 13 units.
