Institutional investment fund manager Mitchell R. Julis paid $10.1 million for a 2,900-square-foot condominium unit at 15 Central Park West, according to city records posted today. Julis, founding partner and senior portfolio manager of Los Angeles-based Canyon Capital Advisors, and his wife closed on the fourth floor, three-bedroom unit on March 31. The couple also paid $885,000 for a 455 square foot servants’ quarter. Julis’ investment company reports that it and its affiliates manage about $19 billion in assets.
