Prospect Heights project keeps selling

Hello Living, an eight-building, 106-unit development in Prospect Heights built by 32-year-old Eli Karp, has nearly sold out the two buildings that have been on the market since April of last year. The buildings, on an under-developed section of Pacific Street between Washington and Grand avenues, have sold 20 of their 25 units, most for between $350,000 to $550,000. Prices have been cut for four of the five remaining units, which range from $700,000 to $1.3 million. Karp said the project’s double-high ceilings and custom appliances have helped it weather the market’s downturn. Another building hit the market last week.
