Candler picked for Astor’s Park Ave. apt.

Corcoran’s Leighton Candler has been chosen as the broker for the late Brooke Astor’s $46 million co-op at 778 Park Avenue. Candler brought hedge-funder Scott Bommer and his wife to an uncombined duplex at 1060 Fifth Avenue, which sold in January for a co-op record $46 million. In 2006, at 1040 Fifth Avenue, Candler brokered the sale of billionaire oilman David Koch’s apartment for $30 million (the apartment once belonged to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis). Candler also has an $8.45 million listing at Richard Meier On Perry Street.
