A 23-room townhouse on Sutton Square with views of the East River has flipped for $30 million, a $7.5 million increase over its selling price in June 2007, according to city property records posted today.

The four-story residence at 8-12 Sutton Square sold on May 15 after going into contract on April 29.

Neither the buyer nor the seller was identified on the most recent deed. The seller in 2007 was Yue Sai Kan, a television producer and author who owns the neighboring 6 Sutton Place.

The 41-foot wide townhouse was designed by architects Delano and Aldrich and was built in about 1920. It has a back yard, two elevators and a garage.

The home, at 58th Street and the East River, was listed by Brown Harris Stevens broker Brian Manning. It was listed on the company Web site for $29.75 million, less than the $30 million sale price.
