New developments coming to Battery Park City

Battery Park City, hailed as Manhattan’s most suburban neighborhood, is seeing a wealth of change. New developments and condo conversions are peppering the planned, leafy neighborhood, separated from the rest of the city by the busy West Side Highway. The eco-friendly Visionaire and Riverhouse projects will join Rector Square and 333 Rector Street. Goldman Sachs is also building a new headquarters in the area. “You get more for your money [in BPC] in terms of the actual price of apartments,” says broker Sharon McGrail of Bond New York, who lives and works in the area.
