Boston firm closes on 360 Lexington for $128M

Boston real estate investment firm AEW closed on the office tower at 360 Lexington Avenue and 40th Street for $90 million plus the assumption of a $38.6 million mortgage.

The seller in the deal, which closed August 6 ,was 360 Lexington LLC, registered at the address of real estate investment firm Himmel + Meringoff Properties, according to city records published today.

The 26-story, nearly 240,000-square-foot building was built in 1958, and is the home to the Afghanistan Consulate General.
