A one-bedroom apartment measuring an expansive 3,912 square feet in the Plaza Hotel sold for $21.5 million to an undisclosed buyer and next door a two-bedroom apartment with 2,699 square feet sold for $9.6 million to another undisclosed buyer.
Both purchasers listed their addresses in care of Wildenstein and Company, an art gallery whose president is Guy Wildenstein.
A smaller unit, a one-bedroom with 1,452 square feet, sold for $5.6 million to a third undisclosed entity, Glenblack Limited, which is a British Virgin Islands company. That apartment is adjacent to the large one-bedroom apartment that sold.
All the sales were closed August 7, according to city property records posted today.
