Manhattan falls on list of expensive office markets

Manhattan fell one spot on Cushman & Wakefield’s list of the world’s priciest office markets. The office market here came in 10th this year, down from 9th in 2007. The rankings are calculated by occupancy costs — which include rent, taxes and insurance. London has the most expensive office market, according to the report. But, the list was compiled before the financial crisis hit.
