As part of its Web coverage this week, The Real Deal is posting highlights of the most interesting real estate video clips about current market conditions. Today we turn to TheStreet.com, which looks at the declining value of REITs and how the recent bank mergers and layoffs will affect the city’s commercial market. Jay Paul Leupp of Grubb & Ellis says that companies like SL Green, Vornado Realty Trust and Boston Properties will have more competition on their hands as demand for office space falls off.
