Jersey City council members voted 6-2 last night not to rename Morgan Street, in front of the 444-unit Trump Plaza Jersey City, Trump Plaza. Morgan Street is named in honor of a Revolutionary War general, Daniel Morgan. Council members said the name change was unnecessary and would only encourage other developers to make similar requests.
