Brown
Harris Stevens has been named the designated sales agent for the
historic Montauk Manor, recently converted into a condominium at 236
Edgemere Street in Montauk on Long Island’s East End. The Montauk Manor was originally built
as a hotel in 1927, and was designed by Schultze and Weaver, the same
architectural firm that designed the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan.
Units range from studios to three-bedroom apartments, many with private
terraces and balconies. Prices are between $200,000 and $500,000.
Brown Harris Stevens is considered the designated, not exclusive, agent for the property because owners maintain the right to sell their homes themselves. Amenities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, a
health club, shuttle service to the beach, a restaurant and conference
rooms. TRD
