Silverstein offers Super Bowl tickets to brokers

January 26, 2009 04:41PM

In another example of anxious landlords luring brokers to buildings with gifts, Silverstein Properties is raffling off a trip to the Super Bowl to brokers who tour space at 1177 Sixth Avenue, between 45th and 46th streets. The building is currently 98 percent leased, according to Silverstein, but about 100,000 square feet of space is expected to come on the market later this year. In a statement, Silverstein said that this is the first time Silverstein Properties has brought brokers in since it bought the tower in 2007.
