The unit with the biggest price cut in Manhattan today, according to
Streeteasy.com, is the Rothschild Mansion at 41 East 70th Street. The
price of the townhouse was lowered by $5 million, and is now listed for
$30 million. Brown Harris Stevens’ Paula Del Nunzio has the listing.
According to Streeteasy.com, the mansion went on the market in November
2005 for $25 million, and the price was raised to $35 million in July
2007. The price of the townhouse is now 20 percent higher than its 2005 price, but 15 percent lower than its most recent 2007 price. TRD
