Openings and closings: Izzy and Nat’s open, Fried Dumpling evicted

Whole Foods at Columbus Avenue and 97th Street will open in August. Fashion and jewelry designer Nicole Romano has opened a pop-up boutique in The Plaza. Spice has opened its latest restaurant at 10th Street and Fourth Avenue. Izzy and Nat’s, a deli, has opened in Battery Park City. The Dubliner pub has opened at 45 Stone Street.

In Brooklyn, a new store is coming to 375 Ninth Street at Sixth Avenue in Park Slope. A tattoo parlor is opening at 212 Greene Avenue in Clinton Hill. The Flying Monkey, a bar, has signed a lease for 1,500 square feet at 706 Washington Avenue in Prospect Heights. Magasin Totale, a designer’s collective showroom, opened recently at 10 Jay Street in Dumbo. Outside of the city, Balenciaga opened its first U.S. outlet store at Woodbury Commons. Hermes will open in East Hampton.

Several Upper East Side restaurants, Cambodian Cuisine on Third Avenue and 93rd Street and Sassy’s Sliders On Third Avenue And 86th Street, have closed. In the Financial District, Gold St. is closing and will become Harry’s Italian. Hea, on Third Avenue and 13th Street, is closing for renovations and will reopen next week. Fried Dumpling, at 99 Allen Street, has been evicted by its landlord. TRD
