Eva Scrivo opened a salon earlier this week on the West Side. Abercrombie has put up signs on Houston and Broadway announcing its plans to open a store there. A day care is coming to 156 Gates Avenue in Brooklyn. Watty and Meg will take over the Caffe Carciofo space at the corner of Court and Kane streets. Terrance Brennan may be taking over the kitchen at Trigo, which opened a month ago in Tribeca. The Red Hook ballpark food vendors will return May 2. Despite reports of its closure, Starlite Lounge in Crown Heights is still open. Brooklyn’s Patois has moved to 177 Mulberry Street in Manhattan. The owners of Bazzini, a cafe in Tribeca, are looking for a new tenant to take over the space. Delicious on the Slope on President Street in Park Slope has closed. Maurice Villency, a furniture store at 949 Third Avenue, is closing in June, a store employee told The Real Deal. A total of 27 restaurants closed in March, according to Eater.com. TRD
