The unit to see the biggest price cut today is a four-bedroom,
four-bath co-op apartment at the Dakota, 1 West 72nd Street, according to Streeteasy.com. The price
of apartment 66 was reduced by $5 million, and is now on the market for
$14.5 million. This is the apartment’s second price cut, and it is now
listed for almost 40 percent less than its asking price of $24 million
when it first went on the market in June 2008. Brown Harris Stevens’
John Burger has the listing. TRD
