Openings and closings: Eastern Mountain Sports flagship to open, 167B Orchard Street to close

Gourmet Garage will be coming to the former Balducci’s space on West 66th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. The Happy Well Being House cart, on 50th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues, is expected to return today after fixing a vending cart problem. Eastern Mountain Sports is set to open its new flagship location at 530 Broadway May 8. The owner of restaurant Cowgirl Hall of Fame will open a seafood restaurant at 259 Front Street at South Street Seaport this summer. In Brooklyn, Bar Toto is opening a location in Park Slope, in the former Pumpkins Market space at 1302 Eighth Avenue. Olga’s, a restaurant, has opened at 407 Smith Street between 4th and 5th streets in Carroll Gardens. Berry Park, a bar at 4 Berry Street in Williamsburg, should open in May or June. A new speakeasy, Sarah James, is opening at 305 Throop Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant. An Italian restaurant, O Barone, will open soon at the former 360 space, at 360 Van Brunt Street in Red Hook. The apparel store at 167b Orchard Street is closing. TRD
