A Teaneck, NJ, homeowner who turned to a bake sale to save her home from foreclosure has made enough money to make her mortgage payment. Angela Logan, an actress, hoped to sell 100 homemade “mortgage apple cakes” for $40 each to pay the mortgage. She had received more than 500 orders as of Tuesday, and the Hilton Hotel in Hasbrouck Heights invited Logan, who was planning to bake in her home, to use its kitchen. The first of her three $2,559.94 mortgage payments is due to Bank of America this weekend.
