$12M Water Mill home sees $2M price cut
A three-bedroom cottage on Cobb Isle Road in Water Mill saw a $2 million price cut today,
after sitting on the market since February, according to Streeteasy.com. The 2,000-square-foot home was originally listed for $12 million by Saunders & Associates’ Cathy Dransfield, who still has the listing. The property includes a dock on Meyers Pond. Dransfield was not immediately available for comment, and the home’s address was not immediately clear.

New interactive map charts neighborhood crime

PropertyShark.com has debuted its new interactive New York City crime map. The feature allows users to evaluate crime levels throughout the five boroughs, using data from the first nine months of the year, the press release issued today says. The map breaks down neighborhoods by police precinct and shows crime statistics for individual addresses, dating back even further — to the beginning of 2008.


Affordable housing complex opened in Bedford-Stuyvesant

The newly completed affordable housing complex, Atlantic Avenue Apartments in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, was unveiled today during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1825 Atlantic Avenue, between Suydam Place and Buffalo Avenue. The seven-story building will provide 150 units for low- and moderate-income families, with 12 of the apartments reserved for developmentally disabled residents.TRD
