Priciest, cheapest units to hit the market

There was a tie for the priciest Manhattan home to hit the market this week.

The first unit is a 6,321-square-foot condo in Superior Ink at 400 West 12th Street, which hit the market today with an asking price of $39.5 million, according to Streeteasy.com, after selling for $14.5 million less, just under a week ago. Houston Rockets owner Leslie Alexander purchased the apartment last Sunday for $25 million, making it the second largest Manhattan home sale this year, before placing it back on the market for $39.5 million. Dolly Lenz of Prudential Douglas Elliman is the listing agent for the space.

The other unit to hit the market for $39.5 million this week is a 6,316-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo in The Plaza at 768 Fifth Avenue. The apartment came to market two days ago, according to Streeteasy.com, and it’s already in contract. Stribling & Associates is listed as the broker.

The third most expensive home to hit the market is a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom condo at 100 11th Avenue in Chelsea. The 4,675-square-foot home is being listed by the Corcoran Group.

The cheapest Manhattan unit to come online this week is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op at One Convent Avenue in West Harlem, according to Streeteasy.com. The home has a listing price of $59,730 and is being represented by Willie Suggs Licensed Real Estate Brokers. No mortgages are allowed. According to the listing, more than one of these units may be available for purchase.

The second least expensive unit to hit the market this week is a one-bathroom studio co-op at 330 East 90th Street. Bellmarc Realty’s Lena Datwani is representing the 200-square-foot unit, which is listed for $150,000.

The third cheapest home is a one-bathroom studio co-op at 680 West 204th Street in Inwood. The 450-square-foot unit, on the market for $184,000, is listed by Rob Kleinbardt for $184,500. TRD
