Plaza Construction will break ground this month on a $16.5 million restoration project for Building 92, a mid-19th century brick building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard at 63 Flushing Avenue. The project has a scheduled completion date of February 2011, after which the 33,000-square-foot building will become the official exhibition and visitor center for the Brooklyn Navy Yard, according to a press release from Plaza. LEED platinum certification is being sought through the restoration, with Beyer Blinder Belle Architects designing the project. TRD
