Corcoran’s BBQ guys hit ground running

Despite what some nay-sayers will contend, it pays to be in business with Barbara Corcoran — at least as far as the BBQ industry is concerned. In the “Shark Tank” season finale this week, during a look back at one of the Corcoran Group founder’s investments, the guys behind Pork Barrel BBQ said they’re thrilled with their partnership. Corcoran had invested $50,000 in exchange for a 50 percent stake in the company. During this week’s episode, Pork Barrel founders Heath Hall and Brett Thompson said that they’ve already begun marketing their product in Costco and even bought a bus so they can market their product on the go. Corcoran doesn’t bite on any new products during the finale, including a poncho for MP3 players and a traveling urinal shaped like a golf club, for golfers who just can’t wait for proper facilities.
