A new theater from famed ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov’s arts facility will open in February 2010, according to the Observer. The Jerome Robbins Theater will be housed in the 37 ARTS Building at 450 West 37th Street, the same building that houses the Baryshnikov Arts Center. It is not yet clear how much the project will cost or how much space it will take up, but Jon Denham of Denham Wolf Real Estate has been named as the project manager. The theater anticipates being granted LEED certification for its pledge to use recycled materials.
