The Flatiron co-op that potential Senate candidate Harold Ford shares with his wife Emily is on the market for $1.4 million after a recent $90,000 price chop, Gawker reported. The loft apartment at 105 Fifth Avenue, near 18th Street, has one bedroom, two bathrooms, city views and walls painted yellow and turquoise. Emily Threlkeld, now Emily Ford, purchased the loft for $1.53 million in June 2006 with the help of her mother, Debra Beard, city records show. Ford married Emily in 2008, and the couple — and their whereabouts — recently made headlines when Ford was misquoted as claiming to live a few blocks away from the federal courthouse downtown. Kathy Sloane of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing.
