The Real Deal New York

NJ complex would block residents’ NYC skyline views

A proposed 95-foot-tall complex in North Bergen, N.J. is threatening to block the beautiful — and valuable — New York City skyline views of homeowners at the Bergen Ridge townhouses behind it, Fox News reported. Riverview Development’s three towers would contain 233 condos and 23 townhouses along the Hudson River, which the Bergen Ridge Homeowners Association says would lower their property values by poaching their views. The development is now awaiting building permits after an appeals court rejected the homeowners association’s request for a hearing on the proposal.
