The New York School of Interior Design broke ground this week on a planned new facility at 401 Park Avenue South, near 28th Street, that is slated to house a 20,000-square-foot graduate center. NYSID has leased the second and third floors and will build out the space, which was designed by Gensler Architects, in two phases. The first phase will be ready in time for the 2010-2011 academic year; the second phase will begin in February 2011. Neil Lipinski and Tim Kucha of Cassidy Turley brokered the deal. TRD
