A penthouse on the 54th floor of the celebrity-stacked One Beacon Court tower at 151 East 58th Street has just hit the market for $22.7 million — nearly three times what it sold for when it first traded in 2005. That year, Vornado Realty Trust, which developed the 105-unit condo atop the offices of Bloomberg LP, sold the 3,779-square-foot spread, #54E, for $8.5 million. The buyer, whose identity was cloaked under the name of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based Imperial Partners LLC, according to property records, joined the likes of Beyoncé, Brian Williams, and, for a time, outfielder Johnny Damon. The four-bedroom apartment is one floor above the 4,485-square-foot penthouse Italian playboy Flavio Briatore reportedly sold for $18 million last month. It has 37 floor-to-ceiling windows and river-to-river views of the city. Listing brokers Maria Pashby and Deborah Grubman of the Corcoran Group were not immediately available for comment on the apartment or the 167 percent price hike, but the listing describes its renovation as “flawless” with “state-of-the-art-lighting, motorized multiple shades, audiophile sound and Creston system and major architectural finishes and paneling throughout.” TRD
